The 4th China New Energy Vehicle Summit 2021
With the determination of the trend of achieving carbon neutrality from
2050-2060 in major regions of the world, which brings the demand for
comprehensive electrification of road traffic in the medium and long term.
Speeding up the development of new energy vehicles is one of the most important
ways for the world to move towards carbon neutrality. With the development and
improvement of new energy vehicles' technology, there are also many new
opportunities to the industry. In China, New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Industry
Development Plan from 2021-2035 in order to promote and stimulate high-quality,
sustainable development of China’s new energy automotive industry. This plan
indicates the New Energy Vehicle sales accounted for 25% until 2025, the
electrification of public areas in key areas must not be less than 80%; in
particular, the plan emphasizes the innovation of new business models such as
battery swap, the construction of the hydrogen fuel cell system, and the
